Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is a Metroidvania game featuring Lilac, an Atuna with the ability to purify Huli and turn them into weapons.
The gameplay of Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is considered a combination and refinement of familiar elements from previous Metroidvania titles. The Heruli system allows players to customize their fighting style by equipping Huli to different buttons. The Break system helps players deal extra damage when depleting the enemy’s gauge. In addition, players can upgrade skills for homunculus using materials collected from defeating bosses.
The game’s strength lies in its intelligently designed map system, which both supports fast travel and ensures exploration. The in-game visuals are meticulously crafted with beautiful scenes, 3D lighting effects, and seven levels of Parallax scrolling. The background music is also a big plus, contributing to a great experience.
However, the game still has some minor drawbacks such as the controls sometimes not being really smooth and some background elements being designed too similar to static objects, causing confusion for players.
